Compaq India will allow buyers to customise PCs![]() In keeping with this strategy, Compaq introduced five Pentium III processor based Compaq Presario home PCs ranging in price from Rs 65,990 to Rs 85,990.
''With this move, customers now get a wide range of Compaq Presarios at affordable price points. The Compaq Presario range already has fully featured entry-level models priced at Rs 45,900 based on the Intel's Celeron processor,'' said Ravi Swaminathan, director, consumer division, Compaq India. Shuchi Sarkar, manager, marketing, consumer division, says ''Different buyers... family, SOHO (small-office home-office), first-time user have different needs. Our new initiative will allow customers to choose the PC configuration that they need. It will help us to increase our penetration in different segments of the market.'' UNI |
