What: National Board for Higher Mathematics invites applications for Scholarships for Post-graduate studies in Mathematics (MA/ MSc) 2006-2007.

Are you eligible?

~ You should hold a BA/ BSc degree.

~ You could be a final year student.

~ MA/ MSc first or second year students may also apply.

~ You must have a minimum overall aggregate of 60 percent from class XII onwards.

~ You must not be more than 23 years old as on January 1, 2006.

Scholarship details

~ Candidates will be eligible to receive a scholarship of Rs 4,000 per month, during their MA/ MSc programme.

~ The scholarships are sanctioned for one year at a time and are renewable at the end of the year, subject to satisfactory progress.

Selection method

~ You will be shortlisted on the basis of your performance in the written test.

~ This will be followed by a personal interview.

Important date

~ Please send in your completed applications before July 31.
