What: The academic council of the Madurai [Images] Kamaraj University has relaxed the eligibility criteria for admission to its B Sc Information Technology programme, enabling any student who has passed the class XII examination to join the course.

~ Students who did not take mathematics or computer science in class XII will be eligible to join the B Sc-IT course from 2006-07.

~ However, the eligibility for B Sc Computer Science would not be relaxed as the course has six papers in mathematics.
