What: International Institute of Information Technology - Bangalore (IIIT-B), invites applications for admission to the MTech, programmes starting in the year 2008.

Details:

~ The MTech degree is intended to provide education to students who wish to work in the IT industry as practioners.

~ It is awarded upon successful completion of a 4-semester, broad-based academic programme in IT going beyond, but incorporating essential elements of, traditional computer science. All students enrolled in the MTech program are residential, full-time students.

~ The application brochure can be downloaded free of charge from website http://www.iiitb.ac.in, or obtained in printed form by making a payment of Rs 100 from various locations at the following cities:

~ Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Manipal, Mangalore, Mumbai and Pune.

Eligibility:

~ A first class BE/B Tech/equivalent engineering degree is the minimum qualification for admission to the MTech. Students with MSc / MCA degrees are also eligible. Final year students expecting to graduate by August 2008 are also welcome to apply. 

~ The online admission test will be held at 12 centers across India, in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mangalore, and Mumbai.

~ Last date for receiving demand draft for online applications: March 15, 2008

~ Last date for requesting offline applications: February 1, 2008

~ Students are provided with two choices for taking the online admission test: March 30, 2008 and April 13, 2008
