What: Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata, invites applications for admission to its three-year, full-time post-graduate diploma course for the session 2007-2010.

• Direction & Screenplay
• Cinematography
• Audiography

~ Medium of instruction: English

~ Number of seats: 40 (10 per discipline, 2 seats are earmarked for foreign students, and reservation for SC/ST candidates as per extant Government of India rules)

~ The admission test will comprise a written examination, followed by an interactive orientation test and viva-voce for the shortlisted candidates.

Are you eligible?

~ You must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university, or its equivalent.

~ For specialisation in audiography, you must have had physics as one of the subjects at the higher secondary level (10+2 level).

~ Last date for receipt of request for prospectus by post: February 15
~ Last date for receipt of completed application form at SRFTI: March 2
~ Written examination to be held on: April 8
