Development programme for English teachers

What: The United States Educational Foundation announces the Professional Development Program for Indian and Pakistani teachers. 

Details

~ 26 teachers from India and Pakistan will spend six weeks at institute at University of California, Los Angeles, CA, USA.

~ The programme is a US Department of State-sponsored initiative for secondary-level (Class IX to XII) school teachers, teaching English at schools in Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, and Punjab.

~ You will learn advanced methodologies for teaching English, explore THE latest technologies applied to teaching and learning and develop deeper awareness of US culture and society. 

~ You will participate in a distance learning programme after you return. You will also attend and present at two follow-on workshops, one in India and the other in Pakistan.

~ You will receive round trip transportation, room and board, and application allowances and will travel on J1 visas.
