JNCASR Summer Research Fellowship 2008

What: Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research offers Summer Research Fellowship 2008 (In association with the Department of Science and Technology and Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, New Delhi).

Eligibility:

~ Science -- Students presently studying in I, II and III year of BSc, BVSc, MBBS, B Pharm and I&II year of MSc, Integrated MSc any year.

~ Engineering -- II and III year of BE, and B Tech

~ The students selected under this programme are placed with scientists at JNCASR or elsewhere in India, for 2 months with a stipend of Rs 5,000 pm and travel support as per Govt of India norms.

~ Detailed information and application forms can be downloaded form www.jncasr.ac.in/extn_prog/srfp or may be obtained by writing to the address mentioned below with a self-addressed envelope of 16x25 cms with stamp of Rs 10.

Last date for:

~ Hard copy request for application form: 30 November 2007

~ Downloading application form from web site: 15 December 2007

~ Receipt of completed application: 15 December 2007
