What: Bombay Hospital's College of Nursing invites applications from unmarried female candidates in Nursing courses from August 2008.

 

Course details

 

3 �-year General Nursing & Midwifery Diploma Course 

 

No. of seats -50

 

Eligibility

 

~ Age 17 completed on 1st August of the year of admission

~ Passed or appeared for HSc with Physics, Chemistry & Biology  

~ Passed in first attempt with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate.

 

On successful completion of the course the candidates will have to give a service bond for 3 years.

 

Important dates

 

Date for issuing application forms: 12th May 2008 to 21st June 2008

Last date for receiving completed forms: 21st June 2008

 

Four years Basic BSc Nursing course

 

No. of seats   - 50

 

Eligibility

 

~ Candidates may be Indian National/NRI/Foreign National, born on or before 1st Jan. 1992.

~ They must have passed HSc or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and  Biology.

~ Candidates who are appearing for HSc or equivalent examination in March/April 2008 are also eligible.

 

The eligibility conditions may vary in accordance with judicial pronouncement and orders issued by appropriate authorities from time to time.

 

On successful completion of the course the candidates will have to give a service bond for 2 years.

Application forms may be collected on payment of Rs 50 (for General Nursing & Midwifery), Rs100 (for B.Sc. Nursing) in cash or DD in favour of 'Bombay Hospital Trust' payable in Mumbai.

 

Two-year M.Sc. Nursing Course

Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing,  Paediatric Nursing

 

Eligibility

 

Basic B.Sc./Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with minimum 1 year experience. Should be registered in State Nursing Council.
