What: The Indian Plywood Industries Research and Training Institute (IPIRTI), a premier national research and training institute in the field of mechanical wood industries technology, opens admissions to its postgraduate diploma course.

The PGD course is a one-year full-term training programme in Mechanical Wood Industries Technology. The course will commence from the third week of October 2008.

Eligibility: Graduate in science/ engineering from any recognised university,

Age limit: 28 years as on (01.10.2008) for General, 33 years for SC/ST, and 31 years for OBC

Selection: Based on marks obtained in BSc / BE degree.

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC as per Government of India Rules.

Course Prospect: On completion of the course, Campus Recruitment is organised.

Application form and Prospectus can be obtained by submission of DD of Rs 250/- (non-refundable) in favour of Director, IPIRTI, Bangalore along with requisition letter.

Last date for receipt of filled in application at the Institute is September 1, 2008.
