What: Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudur announces two-year Master's Degree Programmes in the following subjects: 

 

~ MA in Youth Empowerment

~ MA in Career Counselling

~ MA in Gender Studies

~ MA in Local Governance

~ MA in Life Skills Education

 

About the programmes

~ Applications are invited for admission to the Master's Degree Programmes (two-year, regular) for the July 2008 batch.

~ These are pioneering programmes promoting professionalism in youth work, offered by RGNIYD in collaboration with Indira Gandhi [Images] National Open University (IGNOU).

 

Eligibility
~ A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with not less than 40 per cent marks from a recognised University.
~ Experience in the field of Youth Development (NSS/ NYKS/ NCC/ Bharat Scouts & Guides/ Youth Hostel Association/ Youth Red Cross/ NGOs) will be a desirable qualification.

Application forms with Prospectus can be obtained:

All demand drafts must be drown on a nationalised bank, in favour of "Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development" payable at Sriperumbudur.

  

Last date for submission of application: June 25, 2008

 

Reservation rules are applicable as per Government of India norms. SC/ST students are exempted from the programme fee and they have to produce Caste/Community certificate from a competent authority. Hostel facility for girls will be available on request.
