Pop diva Esther, erstwhile known as Madonna!

In her forthcoming project, Chaahat: Ek Nasha, Koirala plays Mallika, a character modelled on Madonna.

The film also reunites the team behind the surprise success of Market, namely Koirala, model-turned-actor Aryan Vaid and director Jai Prakash.

Hrithik Roshan graced the launch of Chaahat to give the mahurat clap.

The plot revolves around Mallika, a pop star. Sharad Kapoor plays her bodyguard and Vaid the managing director of a music company. Mallika's popularity and fame is threatened when another singing talent (Preeti Jhangiani) comes into the picture.

Chaahat: Ek Nasha will be extensively shot in Mumbai, Bangkok and Mauritius.
