The first film was a huge blockbuster across the world. Now, the sequel to 2002's Spider-Man is ready to hit the theatres.

Directed by Sam Raimi, both films star Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst.

William Dafoe, who played Spider-Man's dreaded enemy -- the green goblin -- in the first film, does not make an appearance in the sequel.

Seen here, actors Maguire and Uno Kanda promote the sequel along with muscian Mithuhiro Oikawa in Tokyo, Japan. The film will release on July 10 in Japan.
