Ladies and gentlemen, the day has finally come when Robots not only walk the earth, but also tower over our box-office!

Ewan McGregor (in the picture), star of the new animated sensation, Robots, was mobbed by fans as he arrived for the film's premiere in London's [Images] Leicester Square on Monday.

The film also features the voices of Robin Williams, Mel Brooks, Jim Broadbent [Images] and Halle Berry [Images].

Ewan has starred in two other animated films -- Valiant and Gnomeo And Juliet -- and felt very compelled to do this particular feature.

Wearing a blue Tartan jacket, McGregor said: 'I like animated movies but I find them quite hard to do. I remember doing radio and I always found it very difficult for some reason, much harder than anything else. It's the same with animation. You have to be larger than life or it doesn't work.You have to go overboard and that's against the grain for me.'
