Bollywood film, live on TV!
February 22, 2008 14:41 IST

Ready for a dose of reality television with a filmi twist?

Come March 2, you will see something not seen before on television -- a Hindi film enacted, shot and telecast live without retakes!

Scripted, directed and produced by Channel [V], the film is titled Andaz Apna Very Hatke and stars Neha Dhupia [Images]. It will also cast artists chosen through a nation-wide talent hunt.

The film will have all the ingredients of a typical Bollywood potboiler -- a zalim baap, a gareeb hero, one bheegi bheegi heroine and a kameena villain -- and will be shot at Mumbai's MMRDA Grounds. It will be aired on the same day at 9 pm.

"We have to do lot of rehearsals before the shoot because there are no retakes and its going to be live," an excited Neha Dhupia informs us.
