Odafe Okolie's double strike in the second half guided Churchill Brothers to an impressive 2-1 victory win over Durand Cup champions Mahindra United in their opening match in the ONGC [Get Quote] I-League at the Nehru stadium, Fatorda, Goa [Images], on Saturday.

Churchill, who in the process avenged their Durand Cup defeat, took the lead in the 61st minute through Okolie.

Mahindra United restored parity in the 85th minute through substituteSushil Kumar [Images] Shinde, whose header found the far corner of the net off a free-kick taken by Douhou Pierre.

Odafe, who was the live wire in Churchill's attack, then scored the winner in the 90th minute when he uncorked a 30-yard shot that found the roof of the net.
