This is the Kumbh," is Techa Beaumont's explanation for being in Haridwar. She has moved in with a party of sanyasins and helps with the daily tasks. "Foreigners have a bad name among sadhus. The sadhus have a lot of customs. Many foreigners don't make an effort to respect their values."
